The protected area of a suspended dry‑powder fire extinguisher is typically calculated as 10 square meters, with a protection radius of 3 meters; if the installation location is relatively high, the effective protected area will be reduced accordingly. Suspended dry‑powder fire extinguishers are available in four operating temperature ratings: 57°C, 68°C, 79°C, and 93°C.
